If you’re looking to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida, you’ll need to pass the Prometric CNA exam. This state-required exam includes two parts: a written test and a hands-on skills demonstration.
The written portion consists of 60 multiple-choice questions covering key topics related to patient care. The skills portion tests your ability to perform basic nursing tasks, such as measuring a patient’s pulse or changing bed linens. Both sections are timed, and you must pass both to earn your certification.
If you don’t pass the first time, don’t worry—you’re allowed to retake the exam. However, keep in mind that you’ll need to pay a separate fee for each section you retake.
