I most definitely recommend CNA Kwik Track! Both instructors are so wonderful; I am so glad I decided to take their class! They were so thorough on each and every skill while making it easy to understand at the same time. They also made me feel comfortable which helped out a lot. When I needed extra practice they had no problem at all, taking the time to work with me until I felt confident. The class was so successful that I passed every single section of the state exam, both written and clinical. I ended up doing so well I didn’t get any feedback from the RN testing me! CNAs have the responsibility to obtain the in-service hours and keep the records and documentation obtain of all in-service hours.

In-service hours shall include:

• HIV/AIDS
• Infection Control
• Domestic Violence
• Documentation and Legal aspects for CNAs
• Residents rights
• Communication with impaired clients
• CPR skills
• Medical error prevention/ safety

Some facilities or agencies may have additional in-service requirements.

CNA KWIK TRACK UNIVERSITY offers all 12 mandatory in-service classes for Florida CNAs online as well as other nursing related classes. Complete the other 12 hour with any of our programs, for a total of 24 hours required for license renewal.

FLORIDA CNAs LICENSE RENEWAL
Florida C N A license is good for 2 years. The Board of Nursing sends out renewal letters to CNAs’ last known address. It is your responsibility to keep your address current with the Nursing Assistant Registry. If you don’t renew your license by expiration date it will become delinquent and you will be required to pay deliquent fees and renewal fees.

The Agency for Health Care Administration and the department of Elderly Affairs have specific in-service requirements for CNAs who work in certain facilities or agencies.
