CNA Classes and Study Guide only $325!
Call (407) 209-6478 today!

Did you know that the medical field is one of the few growing industries, even in today’s stagnant job market? There will always be a need for certified nursing assistants. You can join this growing field in just a few short weeks!

It can be an excellent choice, either as a stepping-stone to a nursing career or a rewarding career in its own right. Nursing assistants are a critical part of healthcare in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and most other healthcare facilities.

Our clinical skills classes last one week starting every Monday. Both morning and evening classes are offered as well as one weekend class per month. Students receive personalized hands-on training in all the skills required by the State of Florida to pass the CNA certification exam.

All instructors are highly trained licensed CNA professionals who are continually training and updating their skills to assure all students of the best, most up-to-date procedures and methods. Our instructors are friendly, courteous, have a passion for teaching and love to interact with our students.

Why is CNA Kwik Track the best choice for your CNA exam prep training in Central Florida?

We offer the most up-to-date CNA training program available in Central Florida.

We offer practice in our classroom in the afternoons at no extra charge (by appointment only).

We are located close to I-4 in Lake Mary, no need to fight downtown traffic.

We will assist you in registering for the CNA Exam and help you pick the most convenient testing site for you.

Don’t settle for second-rate CNA training! Our hands-on training is the best way to learn the skills you need to be successful on your exam. It’s like having a personal tutor training you on each clinical skill. We take the time YOU need! No one learns in the same way, and our #1 priority is YOU. We’ll make sure you have every opportunity to become comfortable with each required skill and have no questions about how they should be performed for the State CNA exam.

All necessary equipment you need is here for you to familiarize yourself with and use. NEVER settle for a class where you cannot do the skills yourself. We also offer CPR classes to our students. The “BLS for Health Care Providers” is usually required for anyone working as a CNA in a facility.

A Certified Nursing Assistant fulfills the need of patient care in hospitals, nursing homes, or clinics where nurses may be assigned to 12 or more patients. A CNA can assist patients with their basic needs so nurses can focus on what they must do with patients.

CNA observes patients conditions and reports back to the nurse. Work duties may include, but are not limited to, taking vital signs, moving patients, feeding patients, and monitoring food and liquid input and output. A CNA is the eyes and ears of the nurse, and should always have a strong knowledge of emergency procedures and be able to stay calm in stressful situations.

A valid Florida CNA certificate is needed to work as a CNA in Florida.

CNA Salary

CNA is an entry-level position and as such, certified nurses assistants receive the lowest salary of all nursing careers. However, the experience gained is invaluable since it provides educational experience in preparation for an advanced nursing career. Average salaries can range from $8/hour to $14/ hour. CNAs working nights, weekends, or in private care usually make substantially more.

CNA Job Outlook

There are approximately 1.4 million nurses assistants employed in the U.S. CNAs are employed in a variety of facilities including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and home care.

The job growth for CNAs is faster than average. With an expected growth of 21% or more by 2014, an estimated 500,000 additional employees will be needed. There are excellent employment opportunities for CNAs around the country.

As the medical field continuously grows, certified nursing assistants are on the frontlines for providing quality patient care. Becoming a CNA is a good idea for someone interested in a medical career but unsure of long-term career goals. A certified nursing assistant job can set you on the fast track to a quality career in the medical field.

There is a lot of turnover in the field of certified nursing assistants. CNAs usually move on to pursue a career as an LPN or RN. This helps to create the high growth rate for CNAs and increased demand for medical professionals.

How Do I Become A Certified Nursing Assistant?

For information about obtaining a nursing assistant certification, continuing education, professional development or jobs, contact us and we will help you get the training you need to pass your Florida CNA license exam.

One of the best experiences I had is the day when I walked into CNA Kwik Track training school and I was greeted in such a friendly manor. The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient. They didn’t just give me the best training to obtain my Florida state CNA license, they also assisted me in getting a job!

                    - Jasmine Frederick

I just want to say that CNA Kwik Track is a very good school to attend. The instructor is excellent in her training and she makes sure you understand everything before she goes to the next phase. I passed with a perfect score on my clinical and my written so it was worth every dime I spent for this school. Thank you CNA Kwik Track!

                    - Fazenda Ingalls

My name is Domenick Mucci and I have currently taken the course at CNA Kwik Track. The training was excellent. I would like to see this facility grow to help others to get their certification. I know with their determination and hard efforts this is possible. Thank you for your help and helping others in studying to become the best CNA they can be, with your teaching styles, time and dedication from the great instructors, and their open agenda I thank you! God Bless.

                    - Domenick

I most definitely recommend CNA Kwik Track! Both instructors are so wonderful; I am so glad I decided to take their class! They were so thorough on each and every skill while making it easy to understand at the same time. They also made me feel comfortable which helped out a lot. When I needed extra practice they had no problem at all, taking the time to work with me until I felt confident. The class was so successful that I passed every single section of the state exam, both written and clinical. I ended up doing so well I didn’t get any feedback from the RN testing me! I am so thankful to them and their class for helping me succeed the first step to the nursing career I’ve always wanted! Thank you so much CNA KWIK Track!

Yes. You may enroll in our class if you have taken the test up to 2 times and failed. If you have taken the exam 3 times and failed to pass both parts, you must take a 120-hour course.

Is my license good if I move out of Florida?
No. Each state has a unique certification process. You must contact the Board of Nursing in that state to obtain information regarding their process for certification.

Do you ever have to renew your CNA license?
Yes. Your Florida CNA license is good for 2 years. The Board of Nursing sends out renewal letters to your last known address. It is your responsibility to keep your address current with the Nursing Assistant Registry.
For more information on CNA license renewal, go to http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/cna/

Am I required to have a background check?
Yes. All students will be required to submit a background screening to be completed prior to obtaining your CNA license. The fees for the screening are NOT included in your tuition.

Are there any requirements for renewing my Florida CNA license?
Yes. You must have 12 hours per year of continuing education. In addition to that, you must have worked a minimum of 1 day (for pay) in the capacity of a nursing assistant or its equivalent.

Where do CNAs work?
CNAs work in a variety of healthcare settings in the state of Florida. Hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Alzheimer’s units, and home health environments, just to name a few.

How much does a CNA make in Central Florida?
Salaries for certified nursing assistants in Florida vary throughout different healthcare settings. There are several variables that influence wages. These variables would include the facility, shift, region, etc. There is an average wage base pay of $10.00 in most facilities in Orlando and throughout Central Florida.

Will my CNA license give me credit toward nursing school?
No. Some colleges accept students on a point system for which your CNA license is counted in points. Some colleges give you credit for years of service as a certified nursing assistant. However, the most valuable thing about having a CNA license and applying for nursing school is the experience you will acquire that is invaluable as you pursue your nursing degree.

Is the fee for the state exam included in CNA Kwik Track tuition?
No. The fee for the state exam is not included in the tuition.

How can I register for the State CNA Exam?
You may register online at www.prometric.com/nurseaide/fl . The application may be filled out and submitted for the CNA Exam, and you may choose a regional test location that is convenient for you. We at CNA Kwik Track are happy to assist you with the application process when you register for our CNA Exam Prep training classes.

Do you offer CPR classes?
Yes. We offer an excellent CPR program, including AED training, here in our facility. The class is one day, approximately 5 hours, and you will leave with your certificate in hand! We also offer CPR refreshers and renewals. The cost of the CPR class, refresher, and renewal class is $50.

Nursing assistants are responsible for the resident’s personal care such as bathing, oral care, and feeding assistance. Nursing assistants also assist in ambulation, exercise, and infection control. Through these tasks and others, CNAs ensure residents maintain their rights as guaranteed by the Residents’ Bill Of Rights.
